Q: How long are the tours?
A: 4-5 hours depending on weather, traffic, and interest in finer details of the case. We recommend you don’t schedule another event right after the tour.
Q: How many people can take the tour?
A: We have a minimum of two guests and a maximum of 4 guests. This allows us to directly explain details, discuss the crimes, and answer all individual questions in detail with all guests.
Q: What type of vehicle are the tours given on?
A: Our vehicle is a seven passanger SUV with plenty of room. It is equipped with A/C and and a large video monitor to show historic photos and news articles. We only conduct tours with two to four guests.
Q: Will we stop for a bite to eat and bathroom breaks?
A: Midway through the tour we will stop in at a restaurant that was a frequent stop for the villain of our tour. There are restrooms at the restaurant. We will have a quick bite, answer questions and view historic records of the crime. Dining expenses are not included in the tour cost.
Q: Is this the only crime tour available in Tucson?
A: Yes, no other crime researchers have spent the thousands of hours it takes to put together all the information for a tour like this in Tucson. We have also begun research on a new and risky case which will be ready in the fall of 2016.
Q: How much does the tour cost?
A: Two Guests = $45. Payment due at time your reservation is booked.
Q: How is payment made for the tour?
A: We will email you an invoice that you can pay with any major credit card.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: We require an email notice no less than 72 hours before the tour in order to issue you a refund. If you contact us less than 72 hours before the tour we can not refund your fee, but we can still reschedule you for another tour.
Q: How do I schedule a tour?
A: Please contact us by email, phone, or our contact form, all which can be found here. Please leave as much information as possible, including desired tour dates/times, accommodations, etc.
Q: Can I book a private tour on a special day and time?
A: Our tours are private and we only allow 2-4 guests. If you would like a special day and time for your tour, please call us for rates. We can be flexible.
Q: What should I expect on the True Crime Tour?
A: You will be treated with respect and your questions will be answered to the best of our knowledge. On the tour you will see numerous locations, hear many facts, view crime documents, and even come up with your own theories about the crime.
Q: Do you ever have special guest hosts?
A: From time to time we may have a mystery writer, retired detective or a 1st hand account guest. These guests are subject to change and are not guaranteed to be on your tour.
